TecHUB Conference 2026 · Zurich

Agentic AI & Agentic Commerce When AI stops being a tool and starts acting

AI no longer just answers questions. It researches, decides, orders and pays. Four talks, one evening, one question: what happens to e-commerce when it is no longer the human clicking, but their agent?

The topic

Why this topic, why now

In 2026, agentic AI moved from buzzword to everyday project work. Agents research products, compare prices, fill carts and trigger payments. For anyone who builds, runs or advises on shops, the central question shifts: no longer how to convince people, but how to be found, understood and selected by machines.

The TecHUB Conference 2026 takes this on in four focused talks: a sober introduction, a real project case, the technical architecture, and the open questions around trust and payment. Afterwards there is time for what TecHUB is actually about: talking to people who are solving the same problems.

Programme

Four talks, one arc

Each talk runs 30 minutes: 20 minutes presentation, 10 minutes questions. Single track, everyone sees everything. Talks are held in German or English, the language is stated on each talk.

  1. 01

    OrientationLanguage tbc

What agentic AI really is, and why it changes e-commerce

An introduction without buzzword bingo: what technically separates an agent from a chatbot, what actually works today and what is still a promise.

  2. 02

    PracticeGerman and English

Agentic Inventory: from idea to MVP

Remo Girard and Konstantinos Konstantelos, LumAIa

How an agentic inventory idea became a working MVP: the decisions along the way, what the architecture looks like and where reality pushed back. Remo presents in German, Kostas in English.

  3. 03

    TechnologyLanguage tbc

Under the hood: architecture, agent frameworks and shop integration

The deep dive for everyone who has to build it. Frameworks compared, shop interfaces, error handling and what happens when an agent does the wrong thing.

  4. 04

    OutlookLanguage tbc

Who still buys anything themselves? Trust, payment and open questions

The look ahead and into the unresolved corners: who is liable, who authorises a payment, and how does trust arise between two machines?

Talks 1, 3 and 4 are working titles. Speakers and languages will be confirmed.
